My first attempt at sci-fi
I was fortunate enough to be invited to join the Alvarium Experiment and write a short story for this amazing collection. My story, “Social Experiment,” centers around Liv and Kya, a human/alien couple who are faced with a surprise illness and the threat of separation in the face of an unknown contagion that is ravaging Kya’s people, the Oo’mahns. The pair must find a cure for the disease and convince the alien Elder Bar that they should be allowed to remain together before the illness kills them and the alien race.
